Four bestselling authors. Endless stories.

Born out of friendship and a shared love of storytelling, The Nashville Authors is a collaboration between four authors who believe books have the power to connect hearts and spark joy.

Based in the heart of Music City, we’re united by a love of captivating stories, Southern community, and the magic that happens when readers and writers come together.

Together, we celebrate the power of story—across genres, voices, and worlds. From book clubs and festivals to libraries and literary luncheons, we love gathering with readers to share laughter, inspiration, and behind-the-scenes tales from our writing lives.

Jennifer Moorman is the USA TODAY bestselling author of The Vanishing of Josephine Reynolds, the beloved Mystic Water series, and Strawberry Shortcake children’s books. Her work—celebrated by Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, and Kirkus Reviews—blends heart, whimsy, and a touch of everyday magic. A former senior editor for HarperCollins and touring singer, Jennifer brings her rich storytelling background and creative spirit to everything she does. She’s also a cohost of One Happy Thing, a joyful podcast with fellow bestselling authors Kerry Anne King and Maddie Dawson. When she’s not writing, she can be found in her magic house in Nashville, Tennessee, dreaming up stories, recipes, and starlit adventures.

Melissa R. Collings is an award-winning author and former spine surgery physician associate. She writes diverse romance, women’s fiction and psychological thrillers that balance laughter, heartbreak, and emotional depth. She has three upcoming novels that haven't been formally announced yet, and if she isn't allowed to share them soon, she will explode. When she’s not writing or plotting, you can find her having deep, thoughtful discussions with her two kids in Nashville, studying preventative health, oversharing in her weekly newsletter, or losing herself in a painting. Her imagination never fails to get her into trouble, and she lives by the philosophy: nothing is impossible, and everything is better with glitter—except surgical wounds.

Described as "elegant and thoughtful" by The New York Times and "impossible to put down" by Paste Magazine, The Resemblance won the ITW Thriller Award for Best First Novel and was chosen as a Book All Georgians Should Read.
