Jennifer Moorman is a young,
professional singer/songwriter whose style contains
Christian, folk, blues, and rock influences. She is currently
writing and has logged many hours in the studio.
Jennifer was born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, where she began
performing as a child. She was attracted to the values and
simplicity of country music especially that of Dolly Parton and
Randy Travis. As she grew up, she was influenced by James
Taylor, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Patty Griffin, Tori Amos,
and Trisha Yearwood. Eventually Jennifer's songwriting
influences transitioned to values instilled while growing up in
Georgia, and she began writing and singing contemporary
Christian music.
Jennifer moved to Nashville in 1999 to pursue her singing
career and is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State
University. While attending school,
she recorded and released three CDs. Jennifer
co-produced and wrote seven of the eight songs on her last
released CD, Whisper.
She has grown with each project and feels the current
Contemporary Christian project is
truly representative of her style and vocal talent.
The combination of Jennifer's original songs and strong
stage presence have made her a popular performer. She is
a dedicated, hard working artist with a love of music,
writing, and performing.
